Gentlemen:
At 830 PM After 8 hr of strength training and 1.5 hrs of coaching I managed to fit in a VO2 max training session with Dave and Cleo (former player of mine who played for St. Joes in Phili) We did 30 sets, first 15 were 10 reps with a 20 sec interval - second 15 were 15 reps with a 25 second interval. When working a 3 man rotation the 15 reps work much better, unless you use double bells or a 24 K bell - then 10 reps (or less) would be fine. Time is getting short - up the volume and the intensity. No threats, but if you do not report in shape the first few weeks will be very difficult. Jogging or "going for a run" will not cut it. My gut tells me that I am preaching to the choir - that if you are reading this then you are most likely working the program. Please reach out to your team mates who are not training - if we are going to be successful in the fall we are only as strong as our weakest link -
