Feedback
Gentlemen: For a strength coach to be effective, he needs feedback. Feedback is part of the "normal" communication process. Message sent, feedback received, effectiveness of communication process evaluated. Fortunately for you, I am all knowing. While eternal knowledge is a terrible burden at times, it does come in handy when dealing with college athletes. You have been given a work out program that is extremely demanding. Each week it will get harder and more intense. If you cannot handle the work load, or are becoming overwhelmed you need to let me know. I understand that you have a life beyond soccer, and that some of you are working really hard to earn money for next semester, or taking classes, or working internship programs. These things may take up a huge part of your day. I also understand that you have a life and want to have some fun once in a while. But we made a commitment to each other. My job is to take you to the next level. You asked for a professional coach to design a sport specific training program that if followed will help you get in the best shape of your life, and more importantly, will help you realize the potential for greatness that lies inside each of you. You are not playing Div. 1 college soccer by accident. You are here because you have the talent and the ability to excel at the beautiful game. But there are many with talent and potential. Great players and great teams need more to become champions. My job is to give you the tools, your job is to use them. Use this blog as a tool. If you need more, or different tools, let me know. Dare to be great. Capt
