Get UP Stand Up


Gentlemen: Theme for this week end is to get up. The Turkish Get Up that is. Your challenge is to practice the get up at least 50 times this week end. Do this in small increments, 5 reps per side. We are only talking about 25 total reps per side - practice your technique, if you have not been training and cannot perform the reps with your bell use the water bottle and do partials with the bell. This is the single best total body core movement.

Man-Maker Challenge - 300 swings - 50 get ups

50 swings - 10 rh, 10 lh, 5 high pull right, 5 high pull left, 5 snatches right, 5 left, 10 alt. swings
rest 30 seconds
5-get-ups right, 5 get ups left,
rest 30 seconds
repeat above 6 times - you can skip the last set of get ups - our goal is 50, or you can do them and exceed your goal. But be careful, exceeding your goals can be habit forming.




Pain is weakness leaving the body. Enjoy the pain.
